The new Magic sports parachute produced by Technodinamika Holding (part of the Rostec state Corporation) has passed state tests and can now be accepted for supply by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for use by military parachutists. This was reported on Friday in the press service of the holding.
"The fact that the parachute system has passed the state tests of the Ministry of Defense further confirms that our specialists coped with the task perfectly," the company quotes the words of its CEO Igor Nasenkov.
According to Technodinamika, Magic is a nine-section transition parachute of the "wing" type, which is designed for sports jumps.
"It can be used by both beginners and professionals. The parachute system opens gently, is simple and safe to operate and is stable in a turbulent atmosphere, " the press service stressed.
