The company's executive director Ivan Antsev stressed that the development of modern intelligent UAVs is an objective necessity
MOSCOW, September 7. /TASS/. The research and Production enterprise "Radar MMS" is developing the technology of swarming unmanned aerial vehicles( UAVs) that can exchange information with each other and perform various tasks. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the company's executive director Ivan Antsev.
"We have already carried out such work. We demonstrated this at the exercises of the Rosgvardiya: we lifted several unmanned aircraft into the air and they interacted with each other to perform a joint task. One worked in optoelectronic mode, the other-with a sound notification system. They interacted with each other: one - discovered, the other - notifies," he said.
Antsev stressed that the development of modern intellectual UAVs is an objective necessity. "One thing is one drone, and another thing is a swarm. From the point of view of improving the quality and time of the tasks being solved, a completely different functionality is obtained," he explained.
