Moscow. September 6. INTERFAX-Moscow Aviation University (MAI) has started training students in the areas of aircraft and helicopter construction, as well as missile design, according to the programs of the network model of training, said Dmitry Kozorez, Vice - rector for Academic Affairs of MAI.
"Since this academic year, the implementation of educational programs in the online form has begun, MAI participates in the project both as an educational organization hosting students and as providing access to its resources (on the Internet - IF), "Kozorez told Interfax on Monday.
He clarified that this form of interaction, which provides for the organization of training by several educational organizations at once, as well as the involvement of industrial partners, is determined by the model of network training itself.
"In this project, MAI is the basic university for training students in the direction of "Aircraft and Helicopter Construction" in partnership with the East Siberian State University of Technologies and Management (VSGUTU) in the interests of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (U-UAZ)," the agency interlocutor said.
"In another program, MAI is a partner of Amur State University (AmSU): training is conducted in the direction of "Design, production and operation of rockets and rocket and space complexes" in the interests of the Center for the Operation of Ground-based Space Infrastructure Facilities for the Vostochny Cosmodrome, "the vice - rector of MAI added.
Kozorez explained that training for students of two universities - MAI network partners will be implemented according to a combined scheme, including full-time training at MAI, as well as personal communication with teachers sent to universities to take course papers, tests and exams from students, the vice-rector said.
Kozorez is convinced that the implementation of these network educational programs and the possibility of access to the extensive material and technical base of the MAI will allow on-site training of qualified personnel in the field of aircraft and helicopter construction, improve the quality of training of future specialists in rocket and space technology for the Vostochny cosmodrome.
The very implementation of network training programs, according to Kozorez, will contribute to the development of the potential of the regions, increase their economic viability and attractiveness.
