Dubai. September 5. INTERFAX-Saudi Arabia's SPA news agency, citing the country's Defense Ministry, reported that last Saturday, Saudi air defense forces prevented a missile attack from Yemen on three settlements of the kingdom.
"The Ministry of Defense will take the necessary deterrent measures to protect its lands and infrastructure, stop such hostile and cross - border attacks to protect civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law," the ministry said in a statement, quoted by SPA.
Fragments of one of the downed missiles aimed at the city of Dammam, reportedly damaged 14 residential buildings, two children were injured.
