The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit any launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region. This is reported by TASS .
"I invite you to any launch," Rogozin said during a demonstration to the head of state of the layout of the Soyuz launch complex at the cosmodrome. Putin asked if everything works here, the head of Roscosmos answered this question in the affirmative.
Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin visited the Vostochny cosmodrome and got acquainted with the construction of infrastructure facilities. In particular, the head of state inspected the construction site of the Angara launch complex and the command post of the cosmodrome.
The President arrived in the Amur Region on the evening of Friday, September 3 (on the night of Saturday, September 4, local time) after participating in the Eastern Economic Forum in the Primorsky Territory.
The Vostochny cosmodrome is being built in the Amur Region. Currently, work is underway at the cosmodrome on the construction of the second stage, which will allow launching carriers of the Angara family.
