Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said earlier that the state of the ISS leaves much to be desired, so Russia can focus on creating its own orbital station
NEW YORK, September 2. /TASS/. The United States is seeking to continue the work of the International Space Station (ISS). This was stated on Thursday by the head of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Bill Nelson during a communication session with the crew of the station.
"We will try to continue the program here. We will return to the moon, and then we will go to Mars, " he said during the talks, which were broadcast by NASA.
The communication session lasted about 12 minutes. The main part of it was devoted to discussing the conditions of the crew's stay on the ISS. The entire crew of the station, including the Russian cosmonauts, participated in the conversation. They noted that they do not experience any difficulties and successfully conduct research in various segments of the ISS.

The rocket and space corporation Energia is tasked with ensuring the readiness of the first module for the new Russian orbital station in 2025, it will be a scientific and energy module, which was previously supposed to be launched to the ISS in 2024. On September 2, Rogozin announced that the deployment of the Russian Orbital Service Station (ROSS) is scheduled to begin in five to six years. NASA noted that they expect to continue cooperation on the ISS at least until 2030.
