Ekaterinburg. September 2. INTERFAX-Logistics units of the Central Military District (CVO) delivered more than 2.5 thousand tons of cargo for various purposes to the garrisons of the Russian Defense Ministry stationed in the Arctic, remote areas of Siberia and the Far East as part of the northern delivery, the press service of the CVO reported on Thursday.
"The delivery of material assets to the destinations was carried out by rail, sea and river transport," the report says.
Carrying out the northern delivery of material resources to remote garrisons allows units and military units to function almost offline during the next year until the next navigation in May.
