TSAMTO, August 30. The unmanned aerial vehicle, recharged from overhead power lines, was presented at the MVTF "Army-2021" by the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of the Engineering Troops Alexey Proshlyakov (TVVIKU).
The main purpose of this development is to increase the range of conducting engineering reconnaissance with the possibility of recharging the battery from the wires of overhead power lines (overhead lines) when equipping the UAV with a power take-off device and current pliers. With a minimum battery charge, the copter, using a specially designed power take-off device, is attached to the power line and recharged until the battery is fully charged. Thus, the unmanned aerial vehicle does not need to return to the operator, without interrupting the engineering reconnaissance.
Also, at the sites of the military-technical forum, TVVIKU presented various developments, modernization and rationalization proposals. Among them: a wheeled earthmoving machine, a revolver-type mine container and a modular individual charger for modern equipment of a serviceman of the engineering troops, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
