The military-technical forum "Army-2021" in the Moscow region has completed its work, it was attended by more than 1.7 million people. This was reported on Saturday, August 28, on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"The seventh International military-technical forum "Army" has completed its work... During the forum, its events were attended by 1,702,564 people, " the message reads.
The forum was attended by delegations from 117 countries, 36 high-level delegations, a total of 320 representatives of foreign military departments. 87 bilateral meetings were held with them, 37 of which were with foreign partners.
60 foreign organizations and companies from Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey and France presented at the expositions.
On Wednesday, August 25, the head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugaev said that at the international military-technical forum "Army-2021" Russia signed contracts with a number of countries that are traditional partners of the Russian Federation.
According to him, the total amount of contracts will exceed €2 billion. "This has not happened yet, this is a breakthrough," Shugaev stressed.
