320 foreign military personnel took part in the forum
KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 28. /TASS/. More than 1.7 million people attended the international forum "Army-2021", 320 representatives of foreign military departments from 117 countries took part in it. This was reported on Saturday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"During the work of the forum, its events were attended by 1,702,564 people," the message says.
It is noted that the forum was attended by representatives of 117 foreign countries who sent their official military delegations, of which 36 were high-level. "The total number of representatives of foreign military departments amounted to 320 people," the ministry noted.
The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that 87 bilateral meetings were held on the sidelines of the forum, of which 37 were with foreign partners through the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Federal Customs Service. 50 bilateral meetings were held between Rosoboronexport JSC and enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
"60 foreign companies and organizations from 12 countries participated in the International Military-Technical Forum" Army-2021" with an exhibition exposition: Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, France, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey, " the ministry said.
At the same time, Belarus, Kazakhstan, India and Pakistan presented national exhibition expositions. In total, more than 1.4 thousand enterprises and organizations took part in the exhibition exposition of the forum, which presented more than 28 thousand samples and technologies of military and dual-use.
