VLADIVOSTOK, August 28. /TASS/. The crew of the corvette "Perfect" of the Pacific Fleet won the international maritime training competition "Sea Cup-2021" of the Army International Games, the press service of the Eastern Military District for the Pacific Fleet reported on Saturday.
"According to the results of the competition, the first place with 160 points was taken by the Russian team, which was represented by the crew of the corvette "Perfect" of the Pacific Fleet. The second place in the stubborn struggle was taken by the team of the Navy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The crew of the missile frigate "Quang Chung" scored 148 points. The team of the People's Republic of China, from which the crew of the ship "Guanyuan" participated, took the third place according to the results of the competition "Sea Cup - 2021" with 68 points, the press service reports.
The competition consisted of three stages: the first - the use of the ship's weapons for their intended purpose, the second - a competition for maritime training and the third - a competition for the fight for survivability and the use of rescue equipment. The closing ceremony of the competition is scheduled for August 29 at the 33rd pier in Vladivostok.
The VII Army International Games are training and combat competitions of military personnel of Russia and a number of foreign countries. They are held from August 22 to September 4 at military training grounds of 11 states.
