The correct actions of the military police led to a decrease in the accident rate in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by 29%. It acts effectively both in Syria and in Nagorno-Karabakh, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu said on Thursday, August 26, at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
According to Shoigu, there are no accidents related to the malfunction of cars, the Zvezda TV channel reports.
The Minister added that in the Syrian Arab Republic, the military police ensured the security of more than 2.5 thousand humanitarian actions, thanks to which it was possible to transfer more than 5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to local residents.
Shoigu also said that Russian military policemen demonstrate their high professional level, including at the competitions "Guardian of Order" and "Road Patrol", which are held as part of the International Army Games.
On the eve of the head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugaev told about the signing by Russia at the international military-technical forum "Army-2021" of contracts with a number of countries that are traditional partners of the Russian Federation.
The Army-2021 Forum opened on August 23 in the Patriot Park in Kubinka near Moscow, it will last until August 28. About 28 thousand exhibits from 1.4 thousand enterprises from Russia and abroad will be presented at the forum. In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will show more than 300 serial samples of equipment. In parallel with the forum, this year the VII Army International Games are also being held, in which servicemen of 44 armies of the world participate.
