The delivery of new attack unmanned vehicles "Inokhodets-RU" to the Russian army will begin from 2023, the Ministry of Defense reported. On the air of Sputnik radio, military expert Dmitry Litovkin told about the capabilities of the UAV.
The new attack drones "Inokhodets-RU" (known as "Sirius") will begin to enter the Russian army in 2023, Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko said at the Army-2021 forum.
The contract for the supply of "Pacers-RU" was signed between the Ministry of Defense and the company "Kronstadt" within the framework of the forum.
"Inokhodets-RU" is a further development of the project of the shock UAV "Inokhodets "(another name is"Orion").
The "Pacer-RU" has two engines, a large take-off weight (up to 2.5 tons) and can carry more payload.
On the air of Sputnik radio, Dmitry Litovkin, a military expert, executive editor of the Independent Military Review, spoke about other capabilities of the new strike drone.
He noted that the Army-2021 forum also presented a weapons system for an attack drone.
