KUBINKA (Moscow region), 25 Aug-RIA Novosti. Russia can assist Turkey in creating a fifth-generation fighter, but not to the detriment of its national interests, Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), said on Wednesday.
"We can assist them in those segments in which we can, of course, not to the detriment of our national interests," he said on the Zvezda TV channel.
He clarified that Russia has know-how that is intended "exclusively for its own consumption", and it is still to be determined in which area assistance can be provided - power plants, on-board equipment, or some other.
