TSAMTO, August 25. Rosoboronexport is negotiating with three countries on the sale of small Karakurt missile ships. This, as RIA Novosti reports, was told to journalists by the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev.
"We have not yet sold the Karakurt MRC. We are negotiating with three countries that want to buy them, " he said.
Ships of the project 22800 ("Karakurt") were developed by the St. Petersburg Central Marine Design Bureau "Almaz". These are multi-purpose missile and artillery ships of the sea zone with high seaworthiness and controllability. The main weapon of the MRK project 22800 is the universal ship complex 3S14 for eight Kalibr-NK or Onyx cruise missiles.
