TSAMTO, August 25. Virtual reality simulator for tactical and fire training of paratroopers and special forces " Chameleon VR. Duel", developed taking into account the Syrian experience, is presented at the Army-2021 MIFTF.
Hardware and software complex of virtual reality for tactical and fire training " Chameleon VR. Duel " was developed by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Ryazan Amphibious School together with industrial enterprises. The situation was developed on the basis of the experience of conducting military operations in Syria.
The simulator is designed for training units of airborne troops and special purpose tactical and special actions with elements of fire contact day and night. An innovative feature of the complex is the use of a real person in a virtual environment, not a virtual opponent (a computer program), as an opponent.
Ten people can work together at the training complex, interacting against each other.
The complex provides training in surveillance, terrain reconnaissance and firing using standard weapons, optical sights and instruments, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
