KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 22. /TASS/. The Kronstadt company is engaged in the creation of a line of unmanned helicopters with a take-off weight from 350 kg to 1.5 tons. This was announced by the general director of Kronstadt, Sergey Bogatikov, during the demonstration of a 450 kg take-off helicopter to Deputy Prime Minister Borisov at the Army-2021 forum.
"Now we are actively working on the integration of an unmanned helicopter-type complex into our ground control points. A whole line of helicopters is being developed from 350 kg of take-off weight to 1.5 tons, " Bogatikov said.
According to him, the system being developed by the company will allow the simultaneous use of a helicopter and an Orion UAV from one point. "The idea is that Orion performs reconnaissance of the area over large territories, identifies fire centers, and the helicopter performs a fire extinguishing operation for local foci," the company's CEO explained.

Earlier it was reported that the Kronstadt company for the first time presented at the Army-2021 forum an unmanned BVS-VT 450 helicopter capable of operating in any regions - from the Arctic to the desert.
