TSAMTO, August 23. Within the framework of the Army-2021 forum, Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee of the Republic of Belarus, met with Sergey Bogatikov, General Director of Kronshtadt JSC.
The parties informed each other about the opportunities of enterprises in the field of creating UAVs, discussed promising cooperation projects in this area, and also noted their interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
A cooperation agreement was signed between the State Military Industry organization and Kronshtadt JSC.
The Kronstadt company is developing drones that will be able to independently bypass air defense systems. The drones will automatically analyze the situation on the battlefield and make the necessary decisions. Russian drones are not inferior to their Western counterparts, including Chinese and Israeli devices. Currently, the company is working on the creation of the latest unmanned system "Lightning", on the heavy strike drone "Thunder", as well as the Orion and Sirius attack tanks.
