MOSCOW, August 22. /TASS/. JSC "Science and Innovation" (part of the state corporation "Rosatom") presented at the forum" Army-2021 " a mock-up of an existing 3D printer that demonstrates the capabilities of the domestic software and hardware platform (PAP) for managing and controlling the additive process. The main difference of the development is the ability to control the key technological parameters that determine the quality of synthesized products, and to provide "smart" feedback.
The PAP was developed within the framework of the comprehensive program "Development of equipment, technologies and scientific research in the field of nuclear energy use in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024". The possibility of intelligent control of a digital technological process is advanced in comparison with analogues available on the market, JSC "Science and Innovations"told a TASS correspondent. The platform analyzes the deviations of the actual parameters of the technological process from the initially set ones in real time and, if necessary, provides correction of the modes. What is important, the PAP is built on domestic microprocessors and supports all technologies of additive manufacturing, including technologies with laser heating (SLM, DMD), electron beam-EBM, etc.
"The software and hardware platform, on the basis of which the 3D printer works, represents a significant step forward in the real control of the additive manufacturing process with the provision of feedback on the impact on the technological process.
