Specialists will improve K08BE and UPAB-1500BE
KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 22. /TASS/. JSC "State Scientific and Production Enterprise "Region" (part of the Corporation "Tactical Missile Weapons", KTRV) has started the modernization of the latest guided aerial bombs K08BE, UPAB-1500BE and KAB-250LG-E. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the State Enterprise " Region "during the international military-technical forum"Army-2021".
"GNPP Region is working to improve the K08BE and UPAB-1500BE guided aerial bombs, including equipping them with new homing systems. The work is carried out in accordance with the plans agreed by the development participants," the press service informed.
According to the company, the latest guided bomb KAB-250LG-E can also be upgraded. "The KAB-250LG-E has a wide potential for its modernization in the shortest possible time, in particular in the field of increasing the height and range of use, expanding the zone of possible discharges, and so on," the press service noted.
The latest K08BE and UPAB-1500BE aviation ammunition are the most modern Russian guided bombs. They were first presented at the MAKS-2019 air Show.
GNPP "Region" is the largest Russian developer and manufacturer of guided aerial bombs.
