Kabul. August 21. INTERFAX-Ahmad Masood, who led the resistance forces in the only non-controlled radical movement "Taliban" (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) in the Afghan province of Panjshir, is currently negotiating with the radicals, the publication Panjshir_Province reported on Saturday evening.
"Ahmad Masood is negotiating with the Taliban to create an inclusive government, but no agreement has been reached so far. The Taliban have previously stated that Masood swore allegiance to them, which is not true," the report says.
It is noted that the representative of the "Taliban" confirmed that the news that Masood allegedly swore an oath to the Taliban is a lie.
"Negotiations are continuing," the publication clarifies.
The day before, the publication reported that fighters loyal to Masood on Friday recaptured three counties in Baghlan province from the Taliban militants: Dih Salah, Puli Hisar and Banu.
