The researchers advised congressmen to find out what measures the United States can take to protect its satellites.
At the same time, the director of the Franklin Roosevelt Foundation for the Study of the United States at Moscow State University, Yuri Rogulev, expressed the opinion that Washington is already developing in the space sphere, but in order to increase the military budget, a "Russian threat"is required. "In order to justify certain works that are being carried out, as well as to allocate funding for projects, they blame Russia," the expert said, adding that such reports are always associated with "beating off money".
Earlier, the commander of the US Space Forces, Air Force General John Raymond , spoke about the development of space weapons in Russia and China. The American general believes that Moscow and Beijing are developing advanced weapons systems for space, including lasers and fighter satellites.
