Secret helicopters of the Special Operations Command of the US Armed Forces, known as MH-60X, were spotted in Kabul. Photos of combat vehicles are published by the Telegram channel "Special Purpose Channel".
As noted, the MH-60X helicopters, whose real name is not disclosed, were involved in the evacuation of American citizens from the capital of Afghanistan. It is assumed that after this, the helicopters will be moved to a safe place so that they do not fall into the hands of militants of the radical Taliban movement (banned in Russia). Previously, combat vehicles were most likely located on the territory of a local US air base, but it became risky to leave them there.
It is known that these helicopters took part in the operation to eliminate the former leader of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia) Osama bin Laden in 2011. Then one aircraft was lost. At the same time, the lenses of the MH-60X cameras have never been hit before, the "Special Purpose Channel"clarifies.
On August 15, the Taliban announced the establishment of control over the entire territory of Afghanistan. After that , there were reports that the United States began evacuating employees of its diplomatic missions in the country. US President Joe Biden also promised to assist in the safe dispatch of civilian employees of Washington's allies who continue to serve in Afghanistan.
