In the Murmansk region, units of a separate Arctic motorized rifle brigade of the Northern Fleet broke through the defenses of a conditional enemy and inflicted artillery strikes. The exercises were held at the training ground near the village of Alakurtti. On the video, you can watch the actions of the fighters.
The Arctic motorized skirmishers first made a march to the designated place. We repelled the attack of the "enemy", overcame conditionally infected areas of the territory. One of the tasks of the exercise is the coherence of the battalion when firing from small arms and combat vehicles, the press service of the Northern Fleet reported. And the servicemen fired at objects simulating armored vehicles, low-flying air targets, as well as enemy manpower at a distance of one hundred meters to ten thousand. The units performed their tasks perfectly.
The exercise involved more than 500 soldiers, more than 80 pieces of equipment, including multi-purpose MTLB tractors, a self-propelled artillery installation 2S-1 "Gvozdika", an anti-tank missile system "Sturm". Fire support was provided by front-line Su-24 bombers and drones.
