The Ministry of Defense of Belarus plans to receive new Mi-35M combat helicopters for service.
This was announced by the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic, Major General Igor Golub. "We will receive a squadron of new Mi-35M combat helicopters for the armament of our transport and combat aviation. We don't have these helicopters yet," he said.
According to Golub, there are also plans to replenish the fleet of fighter aircraft.
"A new batch of Su-30 SM aircraft will arrive," the commander of the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense noted, adding that we are talking about 12 aircraft.
At the same time, he stressed that "80% of all the tasks that the Air Force and air defense forces are currently facing, and in particular, aviation, we are currently performing on new or repaired aircraft equipment with modernization."
