TSAMTO, August 13. On August 11, at the 174th training ground of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Belarus, a demonstration of the combat capabilities of prototypes of unmanned strike aircraft complexes (UBAC) of national production was held for the senior staff of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, the Ministry of Defense and the State Military Industry.
The participants of the show were shown the capabilities for hitting ground targets (manpower and equipment) of the unmanned tactical reconnaissance and strike complex "Chekan" with a Kamikaze-type aircraft developed at JSC 558 Aviation Repair Plant, as well as two samples created at JSC Design Bureau Display – a multi-rotor tank (quadrocopter) "Quadro-1400" and "Barrage Tube", which used manual anti-tank grenade launchers RPG-26 and small-sized aviation bombs of the PTAB-2,5 type.
At the starting position, specialists of the development organizations conducted pre-flight training of unmanned aerial vehicles and equipped them with combat units and weapons.
Flight tasks were developed for the prototypes, which provided for the order of maneuvering of aircraft at certain altitudes, their flight routes. The coordinates of the targets for UBAC were entered by the operators during the flight of the drones.
For UBAK, depending on the purpose, the commanders of the calculations determined the heights of the beginning of the approach to the target and the angles of the dive, the heights of the detonation of the warhead.
The shock tanks performed flight tasks in accordance with the specified parameters. Ground targets were hit.
The results of the demonstration will be used when making a decision on the acceptance of products for service by law enforcement agencies.
The priority direction of the development of the LHC in the near future is determined by the State Military Industry to create national shock tanks and high-precision small-sized aircraft weapons.
The most rational and effective is the creation of tactical shock tanks based on the use of the potential created in Belarus and the existing developments.
The message is posted in open access on the website of the State Military Industry Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
