MAI-411 made the first high-altitude flight

The MAI-411 aircraft assembled in Dagestan made its first flight to the mountainous region of the republic.

"It took 45 minutes for a four-seat aircraft of the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant to fly from Kizlyar to the village of Machada. There, at an altitude of 2200 m, is the highest-altitude runway in Russia. The test flight was successful, "Kazbek's Arrows quotes Eadaily.

In the future, MAI-411 is planned to be used to deliver tourists to the high-altitude area. It takes six hours to get there by car.

The aircraft was assembled at the Kizlyar electromechanical plant "Alfa KM".
