The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) reported on Thursday that the launched GSLV-F10 (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle, a launch vehicle for launching geosynchronous satellites) with the EOS-03 satellite on board had technical problems, and the mission could not be completed as planned. This is reported by ISRO on its Twitter page.
"The launch of the GSLV-F10 launch vehicle took place today at 05:43 hours Indian time (03:13 Moscow time) in accordance with the schedule. The work of the first and second stages was normal. However, the cryogenic upper stage was not ignited due to a technical anomaly. The mission could not be carried out as expected, " ISRO noted. No other information has been reported yet.
As the Indian space agency previously reported, EOS-03 (Earth Observation Satellite) is the newest Earth observation satellite that should be placed in a geostationary orbit. The device is designed to quickly monitor threatening weather events such as cyclones, thunderstorms and others.
