MOSCOW, 10 Aug – RIA Novosti. The Moscow Arbitration Court has registered a claim of the Russian Ministry of Defense demanding to recover more than 2.4 billion rubles from the Samara JSC "Progress Rocket and Space Center", the manufacturer of Soyuz launch vehicles, follows from the information in the file of arbitration cases.
The claim was submitted to the court on August 9, it has not yet been accepted for consideration, the grounds for the claims and other details are not indicated in the case file at the moment.
Progress is an enterprise of Roscosmos that produces Soyuz launch vehicles and spacecraft, as well as develops promising Soyuz-5, Soyuz-6, Amur-LNG and superheavy rockets.
The Progress RCC, commissioned by the Ministry of Defense, participates in the creation of the Bars-M and Hrazdan type reconnaissance spacecraft, and also manufactures a support module for the Lotos-S1 series of radio-technical reconnaissance vehicles manufactured by the Arsenal Design Bureau.
