To participate in the tactical exercise, units of the S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Leningrad Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District (ZVO) have begun relocating to the center for combat training and combat use of the VKS (Astrakhan region). Combat crews of S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile systems will make a combined march of more than 2 thousand km to the Ashuluk training ground.
A special feature of the exercises will be the simulation of real combat conditions with the use of modern and promising means of aerospace attack by a conditional enemy.
Combat crews will fulfill the standards for the maintenance of equipment, equipment and camouflage of launch positions and command posts, will work out the reflection of a massive missile strike with electronic and combat missile launches.
At the end of August, the rocket scientists of the Leningrad Association will perform live firing with anti-aircraft guided missiles at air targets of various complexity: high-speed rocket targets "Favorit", "Armavir-VU", "Pischal-B", ballistic targets "Kaban".
