MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. Preparatory work began at the Vostochny cosmodrome before installing the launch table for the Angara launch vehicle. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Center for the Operation of Ground-based Space Infrastructure Facilities (CENKI, part of Roscosmos) on Tuesday.
"The work on the installation of the components of the launch table started in December 2020 with the installation of the metal lining of the flue, and in July 2021, the support beams of the launch table were installed," the CENKI reported.
In turn, Roscosmos in its Telegram channel reported that the metal plating of the gas pipeline, the installation of high-pressure cylinders, technological pipelines and tank upholstery is continuing at the Far Eastern cosmodrome. The publication of the state corporation is accompanied by a video from the construction site of the launch table for the Angara launch vehicle.

The launch table for the Angara launch vehicles with a total weight of more than 2 tons was delivered from Severodvinsk to the Vostochny Cosmodrome along the Northern Sea Route in September 2020.
The second stage of the construction of the cosmodrome involves the construction of a launch table for Angara-A5 launch vehicles and related infrastructure. The excavation of the pit for the launch complex began in June 2019. It is assumed that the construction of the second stage will be completed at the end of 2022. The first launch of the Angara is scheduled for 2023.
