MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The Children's Aerospace Salon (DAX) will be held on August 21 in Zhukovsky with the active support of Unarmia. This was reported on Tuesday in the press service of the organization.
Unarmia is preparing its own program for young visitors of DAX, within the framework of which a bright presentation of the movement will take place," the message says.
According to Unarmia, on August 20, qualifying competitions in aircraft modeling, motocross and a rehearsal of an air show will be held, and on August 21, the main day of the DAX will begin from 10: 00 Moscow time.
"Air rally competitions, demonstration performances in sports aerobatics, demonstration of seaplane models, rocket launches and a master class in aircraft modeling are planned," the press service noted.
According to Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff for Project Activities of Unarmia, it is planned to create a Center for Initial Flight Training within the framework of the movement, which will give participants advantages for admission to specialized universities.
DAX is the world's first aerospace salon organized for children. The event was named after the cosmonaut pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union and Honored Test Pilot Igor Petrovich Volk. The initiator of the project was the Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR Sergey Krikalev. It is planned that within the framework of the event, he will accept about 20 children into the ranks of the "Unarmia".
