The German and Korean IFVs came together in a fight within the framework of the Project Land 400 Phase 3 program. The Australian Ministry of Defense showed fire tests of Redback and Lynx combat vehicles.
The video shows one of the stages of fire tests that are taking place these days at the Australian Army training center Pakapunyal. In the final tender of the Project Land 400 Phase 3 program, the Redback BMP (redback (Latrodectus hasselti) — an Australian spider from the genus of black widows) from Hanwha Defense and Lynx ("Lynx") in the KF-41 modification from the German Rheinmetall Defense compete.
Fire tests of the Redback and Lynx BMP
A total of 450 tracked infantry fighting vehicles, as well as 17 support vehicles, are planned to be purchased for the Australian army. In total, it is planned to spend up to 15 billion Australian dollars ($10.3 billion) to replace the obsolete M113AS4.
