According to the agency's interlocutor, the previously planned transfer of the enterprise to the United Shipbuilding Corporation will not take place
MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The ship repair plant (SRZ) of the Black Sea Fleet remains in the structure of the military department of the Russian Federation, the previously planned transfer of the enterprise to the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) will not take place. This was reported to TASS by a source in the military-industrial complex.
"The Black Sea 13th Ship Repair Plant will remain in the structure of the Ministry of Defense. His transfer to the USC has been canceled, " the agency interlocutor said.
According to him, the corresponding decision was made at the end of last month. Currently, the development of the concept for the development of the production base of the enterprise as part of the military department is being completed. At the end of August, it will be presented to the team of the 13th SRZ.
In 2017, the plant was planned to be transferred from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to the USC structure. The first step in the transfer process was to be the corporatization of the enterprise, which was planned to be completed in early 2020. However, in early August, this process was suspended.
The 13th SRZ has been designated as the sole contractor for the repair and maintenance of ships and vessels of the Black Sea Fleet until 2022. It is the only enterprise in the Azov-Black Sea region that can perform such a large range of work for the Black Sea Fleet.
