MINSK, Aug 9-RIA Novosti. It is too early for Belarus and Russia to create a union ministry of defense, since the parties are not ready for this, first they need to adopt the constitution of the Union State, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Monday.
"Why create today - put a cart in front of the horse-the Union Ministry of Defense? Not only we, Russia is not ready for this. And why is the cart ahead of the horse? Because it is necessary to start with a single law-the constitution, and everything should be spelled out there. We didn't do it, a whole generation was born and grew up over these years, they already think in a slightly different way-yes, not a few, but seriously (in a different way – ed.)," Lukashenko said during a "Big conversation with the president", the event is broadcast live by Belarusian TV channels.
The Belarusian leader also drew attention to the fact that no one in the republic opposes Russia and the alliance with Russia, except for " crazy (oppositionists-ed.) who have fled." "Everyone is for (supporting the union – ed.)," Lukashenko added.
