MOSCOW, August 9. /TASS/. /TASS/. Russian servicemen conducted firing from tanks and armored vehicles of the ground forces of the People's Liberation Army of China in preparation for joint exercises. This is stated in the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO), distributed on Monday.
Operational and strategic exercises " SIBU/ Interaction-2021 " will be held in China on August 9-13. About 13 thousand military personnel and more than 400 units of weapons and military equipment will be involved. The exercises will be managed jointly by the command of the military contingents of the two countries.
"At the final stage of preparation for the joint Russian-Chinese strategic exercise" SIBU/ Interaction-2021 " servicemen of a motorized rifle unit from the Russian military contingent took part in a fire training session with the performance of firing drills from standard weapons of wheeled tanks and armored assault vehicles of the ground forces of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA)," the report says.
According to the district, the Deputy commander of the Eastern Military District, Lieutenant General Mikhail Nosulev, and Chinese instructors also took part in the shooting at the shooting range of the Qingtongxia training ground in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
