INTERFAX-Russian servicemen in preparation for the Russian-Chinese exercise "Sibu/Interaction-2021", which will be held from August 9 to 13, have mastered the basics of managing and operating a medium wheeled tank and an armored vehicle of the People's Liberation Army of China, the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported.
"In preparation for the joint strategic Sino-Russian exercise "Sibu/Interaction-2021" with the military personnel of the Eastern Military District, a lesson on driving military equipment of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) was held. In particular, during the event, the servicemen mastered the basics of managing and operating a medium wheeled tank and an armored vehicle of the PLA, " the report says.
The classes were held at the Qingtongxia combat training base in the Ningxia-Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. After completing the theoretical training course and training on simulators, the Russian crews consolidated their knowledge and skills during the practical driving of Chinese military equipment. The trainings were held both separately and as part of the units, the VVO reported.
