Five days of the air show replace months of normal negotiations
Last week, one of the largest aviation salons in the world, MAKS – 2021, took place in Zhukovsky, near Moscow, where JSC "Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant named after P. I. Plandin"presented its stand.
One of the main objectives of the participation was to demonstrate the strengths of the enterprise. APZ presented not only products, but also production opportunities – machining, assembly, tool, foundry and plastic processing.
– Many issues are solved more quickly at MAX, - said Andrey Kapustin, General Director of the APZ. – The business platform of the forum is a place of communication, the schedule of meetings is scheduled literally by the minute. In a normal working mode, we would have conducted such a volume of negotiations for months. Negotiations were held with representatives of the Sukhoi Design Bureau. It was about the development of prototypes of an electric aileron drive for new aircraft with subsequent serial production at our enterprise. We have met with suppliers of components, as we are making increasingly stringent requirements for the timing and quality of deliveries. We discussed the terms of shipment of our products to consumers for 2021-2025. We talked with representatives of banking structures that are interested in working with APZ. Thus, a large range of our contractors was present at the exhibition.

Traditionally, we present gyroscopes, control systems, steering drives, precision mechanics products. This is literally jewelry work that we do at the APZ.
The Grach UAV is also presented at the stand. The helicopter-drone is currently undergoing the third modernization under the updated technical task with a new engine. By the way, negotiations were held here with Russian manufacturers of engines for unmanned aerial vehicles. We hope that in the near future we will be able to solve the issue of replacing the imported engine.

Our factory is serial, mainly produces products of development institutes. But there are also their own developments. We are now actively developing cooperation with companies that are mobile and can flexibly respond to the needs of the market, for the mass production of competitive products at our enterprise.
