Participants of the all-army stage of the "Elbrus Ring" competition of the Army International Games, representing high-altitude units of the Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardiya and the Federal Security Service, completed a six-day march around Mount Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria. This was reported to journalists on Sunday in the press service of the Southern Military District.
"The servicemen of the high-altitude units of the armed Forces, the Federal Security Service and the Rosgvardiya of the Russian Federation closed the ring around Mount Elbrus and completed a six-day march as part of the all - army stage of the Elbrus Ring competition, "the report says. The press service added that after a day of rest, the participants will climb to the top of Elbrus.

So, the servicemen performed a landing, crossed the river, climbed the ice section. All tasks were performed by the participants of the competition with standard weapons and in full equipment weighing about 30 kg.
The stage of the international competition of the Army International Games of 2021 for the best alpine unit "Elbrus Ring-2021" is held in Kabardino-Balkaria on the basis of the mountain training and survival center "Terskol" and will end on August 4. More than 150 servicemen of the high-altitude units of the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation, consisting of nine teams, participate in the competitions.
