MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. Preparations for the launch of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft, on which cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko are to go to the ISS, began at Baikonur. This is stated in the message of Roscosmos, distributed on Friday.
"In the assembly and test building of the site No. 254 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, work has been completed on the deconservation and preparation of the Soyuz MS-19 transport manned spacecraft for the final stage of the pre - flight test program, "the report says.
According to the state corporation, in the near future the ship will be prepared for complex electrical tests, testing of on-board automation and checking the tightness of the circuits of the thermal regime system.
In November 2020, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, posted a video on Twitter, in which it was reported that the shooting of the first feature film in space is scheduled for October 2021. The space drama with the working title "Challenge" is a joint project of Roscosmos, Channel One and the studio Yellow, Black and White.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft is scheduled for October 5. The main crew includes Shkaplerov, Peresild and Shipenko, the backup crew includes cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, actress Alyona Mordovina and cameraman Alexey Dudin.
