Moscow. July 29. INTERFAX-Servicemen of the Eastern Military District at the Sergeyevsky training ground in the Primorsky Territory successfully destroyed a conditional enemy as part of a combat readiness check, the press service of the Air Defense Ministry reports.
"The military personnel of the missile compound were brought to the highest degrees of combat readiness, then they marched to the specified areas at the Sergeyevsky training ground. Having received the necessary coordinates, the calculations of the Iskander complexes successfully completed training (electronic) launches, hitting all these targets, " the district said in a statement.
More than 1 thousand servicemen and more than 200 pieces of equipment took part in the exercises.
The main purpose of the exercise, according to the press service of the district, was to check the combat readiness of the compound by a special commission of the Russian Defense Ministry.
