TSAMTO, July 27. On July 26, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, met in St. Petersburg with 20 delegations of foreign navies who attended the Main Naval Parade held on July 25 in St. Petersburg and Kronstadt.
The heads of delegations thanked the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy for the opportunity to attend the Parade, which this year was dedicated to the 325th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Regular Fleet, and expressed their desire to once again become guests of the Main Naval Parade held annually on Navy Day. Also, the delegations of the foreign Navies particularly noted the high level of organization of the Main Naval Parade, the skill and professionalism of Russian military sailors.
During the meetings, Admiral Nikolay Evmenov discussed with foreign delegations issues of further strengthening naval cooperation and mutual understanding in the interests of stability and security in the oceans.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy thanked the heads of the delegations of foreign navies who became guests of the Parade in St. Petersburg and Kronstadt, and also expressed gratitude to the delegations of the Navies of Iran, India and Pakistan for the participation of the ships of these countries in the ceremonial parade on the Kronstadt raid during the 5th Main Naval Parade, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
