This was announced by Oleg Landin, Director of Marketing and Business Development of the Russian Helicopters Holding Company.
"Our next scale will be 200 kilograms of payload, and the next step is a ton," he said.
According to him, currently the load capacity of the existing devices is 50 kg in the case of the BAS-200 and 70-80 kg in the case of the VRT-300 drone.
The BAS-200 is a helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle. The maximum take-off weight is 200 kg, length is 3.9 m, height is -1.2 m, maximum speed is 160 km / h, carries a load of up to 50 kg, rises to a height of up to 3,900 meters, can stay in the air for up to 4 hours. It is designed for monitoring the terrain, cargo delivery, search and rescue and agricultural work. The National helicopter construction Center "Mil and Kamov" (part of the Russian Helicopters holding company) is engaged in the development of this project. It was first presented at MAKS-2021.
