ZHUKOVSKY, July 24-RIA Novosti. The civilian UAV of the BAS-200 helicopter type, first presented at the MAKS-2021 air show, can also be used for military purposes, Denis Fedutinov, a leading Russian expert in the field of unmanned systems, told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
The BAS-200 became the first drone in history to take part in the flight program of the Zhukovsky Air Show.

The UAV is built according to the classic single-screw scheme with a steering screw. The maximum take-off weight of the device is 200 kilograms. The length of the device is 3.9 meters, the height is 1.2 meters.
According to the Russian Helicopters company, the UAV can perform flights lasting up to 4 hours, while carrying a payload weighing up to 50 kilograms, the BAS-200 is capable of flying at speeds up to 160 km/h at altitudes up to 3900 meters. The range of the UAV can reach 100 kilometers.
