Rosoboronexport has signed contracts with a number of African countries for the supply of armored vehicles of the Tiger family.
This was stated by the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev in a comment to RIA Novosti.
In May, the head of a military-industrial company engaged in the production of these machines presented them to the presidents of Tanzania, Uganda and South Sudan.
"In the countries of Africa (sub — Saharan Africa), we have signed contracts for Tiger armored vehicles, civilian and service weapons, automotive equipment," Mikheev said.
According to him, foreign partners are willing to cooperate with Rosoboronexport on civilian products — oxygen-extracting equipment, road construction equipment and so on are supplied to Africa and a number of other regions.
