"Adjutant" includes four different types of targets, as well as information visualization tools for commanders
ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow region/, July 23. /TASS/. Specialists of the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant (IEMZ) "Kupol "(part of the concern of East Kazakhstan Region" Almaz-Antey") have completed a cycle of state tests of the target complex for air defense" Adjutant " and are preparing for its mass production. This was announced to TASS on the sidelines of the MAKS-2021 air show by Alexander Dushkin, a specialist of the Target Complexes project at the Kupol IEMZ.
"In April 2021, we completed a cycle of state tests and are preparing for mass production," he said.
Dushkin noted that the Adjutant target complex is designed for training combat crews of air defense systems from portable anti-aircraft missile systems to long-range systems in the near zone. "Adjutant" includes four different types of targets, as well as information visualization tools for commanders.
"The complex also has a special feature that it includes information display tools, which are, roughly speaking, the commander's screen, which is located at the command post at a distance of up to 10 km from the ground control point. It displays the entire target situation in the sky online with full transmission of all telemetric information - the location of the target, the speed and altitude of the route, and so on, " Dushkin said.
The Adjutant complex is considered the most modern target system for the preparation of air defense calculations. The peculiarity of the "Adjutant" is that all the elements and reusable targets necessary for operation are placed on one chassis, simulating modern means of air attack, including cruise missiles, airplanes, helicopters and drones.
