ZHUKOVSKY (Moscow region), July 23-RIA Novosti. The first export deliveries of the Adjutant universal target complex are planned to begin in 2022,Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Deputy General Director of the Almaz-Antey Concern for Foreign Economic Activity, told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, he told the agency during the MAKS-2021 air show that negotiations are currently underway on the supply of an" Adjutant", which provides training for combat calculations of air defense systems, with four countries.
"The first export deliveries of the Adjutant complex are expected in 2022, the first contracts with foreign customers should be signed this year," Dzirkaln said.
According to him, the "Adjutant" was interested in the demonstration shooting at the targets of the complex, which was attended by representatives of foreign partners. "They liked everything. Plus, I want to note that the complex is quite cheap, " the deputy head of the concern added.
He explained that now some manufacturers are taking the path of recycling old air defense missiles, using them as targets for other anti-aircraft missile systems. However, according to Dzirkaln, in this way it is impossible to provide all the complex target environment that is necessary for training air defense systems and air defense systems calculations at the modern level.
"Adjutant" includes four types of targets: rocket, aircraft with a screw engine (low-speed), aircraft with a turbojet engine (high-speed), as well as helicopter type. All targets are reusable — if the air defense system misses them, the targets land and can be used again.
Developed by the enterprises of the Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region, the Adjutant complex allows you to create a complex target environment in the air for checking air defense systems, for training firing of combat crews, for setting up air defense systems in their locations. The complex can be integrated with both Russian and foreign control systems. The system is mobile — all the control equipment and targets fit on a Kamaz truck with a trailer.
MAKS-2021 takes place from July 20 to 25 in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. RIA Novosti is the general information partner of the air show, Sputnik agency is the official information partner.
