ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow region/, July 23. /TASS/. Russia has introduced special-purpose parachute systems "Berkut-A" to the African market, Igor Nasenkov, general director of the Technodinamika holding of the Rostec state Corporation, told TASS at MAKS-2021.
"Foreign customers from African countries really have a great interest in our products promoted by Rosoboronexport. So, the special purpose parachute system "Berkut-A" has already managed to prove itself well, giving an impetus to the development of sales markets in other countries, " he said.
The parachute has a "wing" type design. The backpack is equipped with an additional waist girth for attaching additional equipment under it, the installation of an electronic safety device is provided. Also, a cargo container weighing up to 50 kg can be suspended from the suspension system. The suspension system can be equipped with quick-release carabiners for quick release from it after landing.
