TSAMTO, July 22. The holding company "Roselectronics" of the Rostec State Corporation together with JSC "Russian Space Systems" for the first time presented a new generation of high-efficiency microwave amplifiers for space applications at MAKS-2021.
The products are intended for use as part of the latest communication and telecommunications satellites with a service life of 15 years or more.

The X, Ku and K-band traveling wave lamps presented at MAKS-2021 have improved weight and size characteristics and efficiency, and are also distinguished by their durability – their service life is more than 150 thousand hours (17.5 years).
"The developed LBVs meet the highest technical requirements and can successfully compete in the international market of microwave amplifiers for on-board applications. The use of new products will allow us to completely abandon imports when completing domestic spacecraft, " said Mikhail Apin, General Director of the Almaz NPP.
