MOSCOW, July 22. /TASS/. In the future, the Ka-62 medium multi-purpose helicopter can be used in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry and receive a military modification. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the first deputy managing director - technical director of the Arsenyev aviation company "Progress" named after N. I. Sazykin (part of the holding "Russian Helicopters" Rostec) Andrey Semenov.

Therefore, in the future it can be used in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, " the agency interlocutor said.
The Ka-62 is a medium multi-purpose helicopter. The first test flight was made at the end of May 2017. It can be used for passenger transportation, in rescue operations and when working in the oil and gas field. The helicopter can be used in the widest possible range of climatic and geographical conditions, at temperatures from minus 50 to plus 50 degrees, and also has a high cruising speed of 290 km/h.
At the MAKS-2021 air show, the Russian Helicopters holding company signed the first contract for the supply of three Ka-62s to the Primorsky Territory. The cars are supposed to be transferred in 2022.
